It is usually taken once daily on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after meals, as food can affect its absorption. Avoid skipping doses, and do not stop the medication abruptly without consulting your doctor. To maximize its benefits, stay away from known allergens, keep your living environment dust-free, and maintain proper hydration.

Common side effects of Montair BL Tablet include headache, cough, fatigue, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, drowsiness, and otitis media. These symptoms are usually mild and go away on their own. Montair BL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: bilastine and montelukast. Bilastine is an antiallergic medication. Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to relieve symptoms of allergies.

If you miss a dose of Montair BL Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
