Aish Health

Radiology scans at partner centres in Hyderabad

Aish Health books radiology and imaging scans at partner diagnostic centres in Hyderabad: CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, Doppler, ECHO, mammography and more. You choose the centre, the scans and a time slot online, then go to the centre for the scan and pay there.

Scans are done at the centre, not at home, because the machines are there. Booking ahead means the centre has already accepted a slot for your scan before you travel, and the report is uploaded to your Aish Health account once it is ready.

Where your scan is done

Scans are carried out by the partner diagnostic centres listed on Aish Health, which are set up and activated by the Aish team before they appear. Each centre publishes its own scan list, prices and daily capacity for each scan, which is why availability can differ between centres on the same day.

The scan itself, the preparation instructions and the radiologist’s report come from the centre. Aish Health handles the booking and puts the centre’s report in your account.

  • Only active partner centres are listed
  • Capacity set per scan, per day
  • Centre confirms each booking
  • Report uploaded to your account

Before your scan

Preparation depends on the scan, and the centre’s instructions come first. A few things apply to most bookings:

  • Carry the doctor’s prescription or request that names the scan, because centres need it for CT, MRI and contrast studies
  • Bring earlier scans and reports of the same area so they can be compared
  • Some abdominal ultrasounds and contrast CT scans need fasting or a full bladder, so check with the centre after booking
  • Tell the centre about pregnancy, kidney problems, allergies to contrast dye, or any metal implant or pacemaker before an MRI
  • Arrive a little before your slot to complete registration

Understanding the scan types

X-rays are quick and suit bones and the chest. Ultrasound uses sound waves for the abdomen, pelvis, pregnancy and soft tissue, and Doppler is an ultrasound of blood flow in arteries and veins. CT gives detailed cross-sections and is often used with contrast dye; MRI uses a magnetic field and shows soft tissue, nerves and joints in detail. ECHO looks at the heart, and a TMT records the heart during exercise on a treadmill.

Your doctor decides which scan you need. If you have not seen one yet, consult a doctor first, because booking the wrong scan costs time and money.

After the scan

The centre uploads the report to your booking, and you can download it from your account and share it with your doctor. For blood tests requested alongside the scan, book lab tests with home collection so the sample does not need a second trip.

Questions about booking a scan

Can a CT or MRI scan be done at home?

No. CT, MRI and the other scans on this page are done at a partner diagnostic centre, where the equipment is. You book the slot online and go to the centre.

Do I pay for the scan online?

No. Scans are paid at the centre when you go for them. The booking reserves your slot and nothing is charged online.

Can I cancel a scan booking?

Yes, any time before your slot starts, and the slot is released for someone else. There is nothing to refund because nothing was paid online.

How do I know the centre has my booking?

The centre confirms each booking. If a centre does not confirm within 30 minutes, the booking is cancelled automatically so you can choose another centre or slot.

Do I need a prescription for an MRI or CT scan?

Centres generally ask for a doctor’s prescription or request that names the scan, especially for CT, MRI and contrast studies. Carry it with you to the appointment.

How will I receive my scan report?

The centre uploads the report to your booking in your Aish Health account, where you can download it. Ask the centre at your visit when to expect it.

Why are prices different between centres?

Each partner centre sets its own price for each scan. The booking section shows each centre’s price, so you can compare before choosing.
