Aish Health books blood tests and health check packages in Hyderabad with the sample collected at your home by a sample collector. You choose the tests, a collection slot and the address; a partner lab processes the sample and uploads the report to your account, where you can download it.

    The lab uploads the report and you are notified to download it.

Who collects and tests your sample

Samples are taken by sample collectors who have been reviewed and approved by the Aish team before taking bookings, with their identity, qualification, certificates and experience documents checked. Once one accepts your booking you can see their name and number.

Samples are processed by partner laboratories, and the lab uploads the finished report as a PDF to your order. The expected report time for each test is shown on the test before you book.

Preparing for a blood test at home

Check the fasting line on each test before choosing a slot. Tests that need fasting, such as fasting blood sugar or a lipid profile, are easiest with an early-morning collection so the fast runs overnight. Water is usually fine during a fast unless your doctor says otherwise.

  • Keep your doctor’s prescription or test request handy if you have one
  • Take regular medicines as your doctor has advised, and tell the sample collector about blood thinners
  • Wear a loose sleeve that rolls above the elbow
  • Sit where there is good light and a surface to rest the arm
  • Have the collection code from your booking ready when the sample collector arrives

Choosing between single tests and packages

If a doctor has asked for specific tests, book exactly those. Health packages group common tests for a general check-up: blood count, sugar, lipids, liver, kidney and thyroid markers. Compare the parameters listed on a package with what you actually need before choosing one.

When the report arrives and you are unsure what it means, add a doctor’s report consultation at checkout; a doctor then reviews the report with you online once it is uploaded.

Lab tests for patients at home

Home collection suits patients who cannot easily travel: someone recovering after surgery with a nurse visiting for dressings, an older parent, or a patient on a monthly care plan whose doctor needs regular blood work. Book the collection for the patient’s address and add them as a family member on your account so the report is filed under their name.

Questions about lab tests at home

Is there a charge for home sample collection?

No, there is no separate home collection fee. The total shown before payment is the test prices plus any GST or busy-hour charge, and any add-on you choose at checkout.

How will I get my lab report?

The partner lab uploads the report as a PDF to your order, and you get a notification to download it from your account.

How long do reports take?

It depends on the test. Each test shows its expected report time before you book, and the report appears in your account as soon as the lab uploads it.

Do I need to fast before the sample is collected?

Only for some tests. Each test shows whether fasting is needed and for how many hours, so choose an early slot for fasting tests.

Can I cancel a lab test booking?

Yes. Cancel before a sample collector accepts or more than 1 hour before the slot for a full refund. Within 1 hour of the slot there is no refund, and once the sample collector is on the way the booking can no longer be cancelled.

What if no sample collector is available for my slot?

If no sample collector accepts within 30 minutes of booking, the order is cancelled and refunded automatically. Card and UPI refunds take 2 to 7 business days; wallet refunds are immediate.

Can I book tests for a family member?

Yes. Add them as a family member in your account and choose them as the patient when booking, so the report is filed under their name.

Can I pay cash when the sample is collected?

No. Lab tests booked on the website or app are paid online when you book, by card, UPI or your Aish Health wallet.
