Physiotherapy at home in Hyderabad
Aish Health books a physiotherapist to treat you at home in Hyderabad, in sessions of 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Therapy is available for orthopaedic problems such as back, neck, shoulder and knee pain; neurological conditions after a stroke or spinal cord injury; recovery after surgery or a fracture; and pregnancy, elderly and sports care.
Home sessions help most when getting to a clinic is itself the obstacle: after a joint replacement, during bed rest, or for an older parent who tires on the journey. You see the session price before paying, and book each further session when you need it.

Who treats you
Physiotherapists on Aish Health are reviewed and approved by the Aish team before they can take a booking. The review covers their identity, their physiotherapy qualification and the certificates that back up their experience.
Each physiotherapist’s qualification and years of experience are their own, and we do not describe them with a single label. When one accepts your session you can see who they are and call them to share your reports or discharge summary before they arrive.

What a first session usually involves
The first visit is mostly assessment. Expect the physiotherapist to ask how the problem started, what makes it better or worse and what your doctor has advised, then check your movement, strength and balance. Treatment in that first session is usually lighter, followed by a few exercises to do between visits.
Have any X-rays, MRI reports, surgery notes or discharge summaries ready. Wear loose clothing that lets the affected joint move, and clear a space on the floor or a firm bed. Most home sessions use your own furniture, such as a chair, a step or a wall, rather than clinic equipment.
Choosing a session length
Session length is a practical choice rather than a clinical one. Thirty minutes often suits a focused exercise review or an older patient who tires quickly. Forty-five or sixty minutes leaves room for assessment, hands-on treatment and exercise practice, which is why many people choose a longer first session and shorter follow-ups.
- After knee or hip replacement, or a fracture: regular sessions in the first weeks, as your surgeon advises
- After a stroke or spinal cord injury: steady, repeated practice of everyday movements
- Back, neck or shoulder pain: fewer sessions, more home exercise between them
- Pregnancy and after childbirth: pelvic floor training and preparation for delivery
- Older adults: balance work and fall prevention in the rooms they actually use
Physiotherapy alongside other care
Recovery at home often needs more than one kind of help. A patient back from surgery may need a nurse for wound dressings in the same week as their first physiotherapy session, and a doctor’s review if pain or swelling increases. If mobility is limited for a long time, walkers, wheelchairs and hospital beds can make both therapy and daily life at home safer.

Questions about physiotherapy at home
How long is a home physiotherapy session?
You choose 30, 45 or 60 minutes when you book, and each length has its own price shown before you pay. Many people pick a longer first session for assessment and shorter follow-ups.
Do I need a doctor’s referral to book physiotherapy?
You can book without one. If you are recovering from surgery, a fracture or a stroke, share your surgeon’s or doctor’s instructions with the physiotherapist at the first session so treatment matches them.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
It depends on the condition, and the physiotherapist will suggest a plan after assessing you. Each session is booked and paid for separately, so you are not locked into a package.
Does the physiotherapist bring equipment?
Most home sessions are built around exercises and hands-on treatment using what is at home. If you expect a particular machine or device to be used, check with the physiotherapist by phone after they accept your booking.
Can I choose a female physiotherapist?
Yes, on request and subject to availability. Set a preference when you book, which is useful for pelvic floor and pregnancy-related therapy.
Is physiotherapy at home suitable after knee replacement?
Yes, it is one of the most common reasons people book it. Early sessions focus on bending, straightening and walking safely, within the limits your surgeon has set.
What is the cancellation rule for a physiotherapy session?
Cancel before a physiotherapist accepts, or more than 1 hour before an accepted session, and you get a full refund. A cancellation within 1 hour of an accepted session is not refunded.
