Buying or renting medical equipment in Hyderabad
Renting suits equipment needed for weeks or a few months, such as after a fracture, a surgery or a hospital discharge. Questions about buying and renting health products
Can I rent medical equipment instead of buying it?
Yes, wherever a product shows a monthly rent. Rentals run in 30-day months counted from the day the equipment is delivered, not the day you order. The minimum is one month, paid upfront. You also pay a refundable deposit, shown before you pay.
Who holds my deposit, and when do I get it back?
Aish Health holds it, not the delivery partner. It is returned after the equipment is collected and checked, less any late fee and any damage charge you accepted or that was upheld on review. Refunds go back the way you paid, and card and UPI refunds typically take 5–7 working days.
What if I return the equipment late?
A late fee of one thirtieth of the monthly rent applies for each day past the end of your rental. It stops the moment you request collection from your orders page, so any delay in arranging pickup after that is not charged to you.
What happens if the equipment gets damaged?
The delivery partner photographs the equipment at delivery and at collection, and can raise a damage claim only at collection or within 24 hours after it. You see the amount and the photos and can accept or dispute it; nothing is taken from your deposit while a claim is open. You can never lose more than your deposit. Late fees and damage together are capped at the deposit.
Can I extend a rental?
Yes, in whole months, any time while the rental is active. Extensions run from your current end date, so extending early does not lose days you have already paid for. Extensions are paid from your Aish Health wallet.
Do I need a prescription to order equipment?
Only for items marked "Prescription needed". You upload the prescription at checkout, and it is checked before the item is dispatched. The item is not delivered without a valid one.
Can I cancel an equipment order?
Yes, free of charge until the order is dispatched. What you paid is refunded in full, which for a rental means the rent and the deposit. Once the equipment is on its way, a rental can be collected instead by requesting a return.
Do you deliver to my pin code?
Check on any product page by entering your pin code. Equipment is delivered by a delivery partner near you who carries the item, and an order is only accepted when one does, so you are told before you pay rather than after.
Are the prices the same across Hyderabad?
Yes. Equipment is priced per city, so every Hyderabad pin code sees the same price. The discount, if any, is already applied to the price shown.
